Yao's Summer Blue Fatecore is out... and so is my xes. Although arguably one of my top 20 heroes on Exos Heroes, I do not have the means to pull for her. She is adorable, but I can't afford to use xes on a hero that I will not be able to fully utilize on my team with Gold FC Valentina on the horizon. To ease my heartache, I created different versions of her as wallpapers.

LINE Games has promised all players a full refund up the the pity for the Lepin Reverse Fatecore banner. Taking advantage of this shopping spree, I pulled on the banner all the way up to the pity collecting xes across multiple days.

TLDR; Summer Festa Iris has made PvP a LOT more enjoyable for my playing style, and I'm super hyped to have her on my team.
Sneaking around the net and discord I saw division between players on what Iris means to Exos Heroes and the longevity of the game.
For me as a player that's maybe average or slightly above average, Iris has been a ray of sunshine to allow me to enjoy PvP. I still don't win every battle, but the sheer speed of PvP matches have motivated me to log on more and do more battles because it doesn't take a zazillon years to finish. As of today, I've finally made it master Challenger into Master rank - something I wouldn't have even imagined or cared to do if Exos continued on with the First Guardian Fatecore meta teams.
My hopes is that as Exos continues to grow and develop, that we will be given more choices in heroes with similar passives or abilities to increase diversity in team compositions (in Master rank I have noticed that most teams are vvverrrryyy smiliar). Until then, I'm going to enjoy our little beauty and keep battling.
How is your experience with or without Iris? Let me know in the comments below!

If you've been a playmate of mine for a while now, you know that I am a dolphin on games that I care about. I've spent my share of Xes on Exos Heroes, mostly to pull new units that I thought were interested and held my visual interest.
To make sure I keep track of my spending and not go overboard, I calculated (as I do on most games I spend on) the value of xes when purchased straight from the store with USD, and how that translates into costs per summon.

Gold - Check! Fated Gear - Check! Materials - Check! Certain materials in Exos Heroes can be difficult to acquire, which makes choosing how to spend resources and on which hero can be a pain. It takes patience to collect - but rewarding when you have a chance to upgrade them finally to be stronger units.

He may just be a black fatecore in the Summer Festa line up on Exos Heroes, but he is not one to pass up on if you're into husbando. Degas is a solid Legendary tank unit, and sheds his armor to hit the beach, play some volleyball, and attract the ladies (although whether intentional or not will need to be checked). Let's see if we manage to have him join our party before we pity on this summon banner!
