Get Ready for Exos Heroes' 2nd Mythic Hero Rood - Mythic Hero Quick Guide
Hi playmates, it looks like we are on the verge of getting our second mythic hero on exos heroes, Rood, the lover of the first mythic hero we have, Misty. In preparation, I thought it'd be nice to get a refresher on mythic heroes and how they work.
About Exos Heroes Mythic Heroes
As far as we can assume, mythic heroes will be the grand masters that defeated the dragon emperor Accor. What makes Rood exciting is that he is supposedly the strongest warrior while Misty was second, so we can anticipate that we are pretty much going to get a mighty hero. Mythic heroes are part of the Baikal dynasty and do not have a signature force so far. How they work is that you have to pull multiple copies of the heroes and transcend them to progress through their unleash potential, which has nodes that unlock as you transcend them with buffs, as you would see on a signature force timeline. You still do need to use ultimate orbs to unlock the nodes. Everything else as far as elemental enhancing, armor equipping, awakening, and enhancing work the same.
What makes mythic heroes awesome, or as far as we can tell from Misty, is that they have a powerful kit that works with most nation parties with multiple passives that strengthen the defense of heroes. I'm hoping that since Misty was stronger on the defensive passives, Rood will provide more offensive-type buffs to the party.
So basically, if you want to unleash havoc with Misty and her lover Rood in Exos, first, make sure you are prepared to get unlazy and log in daily. I know many of us have gotten lazy with dailies with the gameplay slowing down, but with Misty, we had an event to gather mythic tickets to summon her (so it took tickets to pull her, not xes). If you've saved your mythic tickets from last time, you can still use them on Rood also.
If you're willing to invest money into this, I will try to go for at least 2 to 3 copies of Rood if possible. Although the mythic heroes are strong assets, because you can't progress in their unleash potential without extra copies and there is no signature force, you are almost forced to need more copies to make the heroes really valuable in a team.
However, I also want to remind you Mythic heroes ARE part of the Premium Recruit banner, which means that you can pull mythic heroes for free on any hero banner run, even the events that Lines has from time to time for free recruitment. I have pulled Misty from free premium recruit events as well as from other fatecore premium pulls as well. So if you want to conserve, there is a chance that you will eventually accumulate copies of mythic heroes just in your regular course of playing, so don't worry.
Finally, this is just my own pet peeve, but mythic heroes can't be dyed in the dye station. So if you were looking forward to that... I'm sorry. *Edit: Some mythic heroes CAN be dyed now!
